My brother, William Eric Pressley, died the day before my 50th birthday. It was early in the morning of July 30, 2001. He'd been having pains that went down his arms, but he was not convinced it was his ticker. So, he didn't rush to the hospital like he should have.
He was not your ordinary, traditional man, so we did not have a traditional, ordinary funeral ceremony; we had a rowdy party at home for him. We invited his friends, past and present and we all told our best stories about him. I hung his clothes around the living room and dining room. His guitar was placed against a door frame in the dining room. I was standing beside it, discussing details of the party with my daughter, when the E string popped. T-w-a-n-g! Eric was there, approving of the party.
I was devastated when Eric died. I love him so much. He is 6 years my junior, and we had great times together. One day I was so desparate to talk to him, I got his cell phone and "called" him. I was extremely emotional, crying so hard that I could barely talk. He let me know he was listening to me that day with the physical manifestation of a feeling of a string being tied around my 4th toe on my left foot. It was intense, just as he was. The feeling stayed with me for at least half an hour.
Most recently, I had an Out of Body Experience. The way it begins for me is a sensation of vibrating from the inside out. I then feel as though I'm being lifted through the air. This night I was "deposited" into the corner of a bathroom that I did not recognize. I stood up, and as I was walking away from the corner into the room, I looked into the mirror above the bathroom sink. There he was!!! I looked toward the corner of the room, where he would have been sitting had he been there physically. He wasn't there.
I looked back into the mirror and he was grinning at me with such satisfaction and joy. I wanted to jump in that mirror with him, but that didn't happen. I began laughing and telling him how much I loved him and missed him. He told me he loved me and missed me too. When I "came to", I had such a feeling of pleasure and warmth that could only be attained by a love-sharing experience.
I hope to have many, many more conversations with my brother as I still love and miss him desperately.

It was September 25th 2001, A simple camping and
hiking trip turned from fun to Hell. My friend and I
set out to explore a remote woods in Central
Wisconsin, It was just a time to enjoy nature and get
some exercise. We arrived in the woods around 9am. We
set up camp and decided to go for a hike and explore
what no one else has seen.
My friend suggested that we
hike down a Deer trail as it would be the most remote.
As we hiked for awhile, we came to a thick wooded
area. I had a container full of bright gold thumb
tacks. I used them to mark our trail and find our way
back. We walked for about an hour as the woods got
thicker and thicker.
Pretty soon, it was almost impassable. So, we turned back. We could not find just
one of my tacks, they were all gone. After 2 hours of
fumbling threw the woods, we made it out. 100yrds
away, I seen the fallen tree where we entered.
I told my friend that I wanted to collect a few of my tacks.
When we got back to the entry point, I could only find
one of my tacks, the rest were gone!
It took us another hour to get back to camp. We decided it would
be best to stay on main trails till we became familiar
with the area. After making a quick lunch, we set out
an another hike in the opposite direction.
As we walked down the trail, we began to hear voices from in
the woods. At first, it was children playing, then
women laughing and finally, men arguing.
We kept asking each other to say what they heard to verify to
ourselves what we where hearing. We heard the exact
same thing every time. we decided to go back. It was
getting way too creepy to go further!
As we were walking back, we saw a figure of a man walk onto the
trail about 500yrds up. Threw binoculars, we could not
make out any facial features.
As we got closer, he turned and walked directly into the woods. I told my
friend that we should walk up to where he was and see
what he was doing. When we got to that area, we saw
that where he walked in was a 10 to 12 foot high sand
wash out.
Yet, there were no foot prints in the sand!
That's when it turned to "lets just get the hell outta
here!". When we got back to camp, we made something to
eat and talked about the voices we heard.
Then It started to get dark, that's when all hell broke loose!
It started as 3 hard bangs from about 3-4 hundred yrds
away. As it got darker, it got closer and louder. Then
it started to circle our campsite and began throwing
rocks or log chunks threw the trees!
They had to be big because, they were very loud. Now, I'm 6 feet
tall, 250lbs and have a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. I
also had my Glock .40 caliber with me. I don't scare
easily if at all!
But, all I could think about is," I'm gonna die!". I have never been so afraid in my
life! As it got closer, we decided to pack up and
leave. I stood in the middle of the campsite with my
gun and the flashlight watching the tree line as my
friend packed up our stuff. We then got in the truck
and tryed to find our way out.
We were lost in a bad way! We drove for what seemed like forever. Then out
of the dark,we saw a glow down the trail, as we got
closer, we saw it was a man. He was on a bicycle! A
road race bike!
At 10pm, in the middle of nowhere, in
full race gear, with the temperature at around
40degrees, and no lights! It did not fit the scene! He
was standing behind his bike, waving both arms in the
air.
I put my gun against the door and cracked my
window. I asked him what he needed. He said," Can you
please help me get out of here? I'm lost and there is
alot of things happening in the woods!".
I told him to throw his bike in the back of the truck and jump in
with it. He then banged on the rear window and
said,"Go straight! Go straight!" I floored it and in
no time, we came to a major Highway!
The man then jumped out with his bike.He then opened my friends
door and grabbed his map. He said," Ok, you two need
to get to Neilsville, take a left here and go up to
hwy10, then take a right, it will take you right into
town. Have a good night and God bless you."
He then rode his bike with no lights into the dark and
disappeared. About 5 minutes later, I asked my
friend," Did we mention at all, that we needed to go
threw Neilsville?".
Then we both just realized that neither of us said anything at all! All I know is
that, that man got us out of that woods. If he was a
man or a guardian angel, I will never know. Looking
back on all of the things that happened that day, I
have to ask my friend who was with me, "Did that
really happen?".
I'll never forget that day but, I will never understand it either. To this day, I wonder
what was in that woods.

I have so many stories, I guess I will tell you the one that scared me the most. 4 years ago I was really into black magic, which is why I believe I saw a lot of things. The scariest one was at my apartment. I had the shower doors that you can kind of see thru, and I saw someone walk into the bathroom and walk out, I thought maybe it was my sister’s boyfriend but he just went to sleep.
Plus, I know I locked my bedroom door, and kept the bathroom door open so it didn't get too foggy, in the bathroom. It gave me a strange feeling, but I didn't want to totally freak out. When I got out of the shower and dried off, I noticed that the bathroom door was shut and locked. That's when I started getting worried. I thought maybe someone was messing with me, then I realized no one could get in the room.
I KNOW I locked the door, I was so afraid to open the bathroom door, but when I did, there was nothing in my room... and my door was still shut and locked, like I left it. So I go to the mirror in the bathroom, to brush my teeth and hair, and when I looked up, I seen a shadow behind me in my room. I don't know why I didn't start screaming, when I turned around, I looked strait into it's eyes; they were bright red and they made me feel the most fear I have ever felt in my life, no matter what I told myself, I could not move my feet.
Finally I got enough balls to run for the door and it tried to grab me from behind, but it got my towel instead. I sat down in the hallway and was pretty much hysterical, I called my mom and told her what happened, and as I was on the phone I heard a bunch of crashing going on in my room, I wasn't going back in there to see what was going on. My mom finally calmed me down and then I realized I was bleeding all over the ground, and when I looked at my back I had some really deep scratch marks on my back.
I still have the scars to this day. When my mom came over and looked in my room, it was trashed and everything was pilled on one side of the room. I moved a couple weeks after that.. But it didn't stop anything. I still have a lot of activity in my house but its not evil so I'm happy =)

When I was about 10 years old, my family had a small get together with a couple of friends and relatives. Everyone was gathered in the kitchen or the living room, talking amongst each other and their children were all playing in the backyard, when I went to my mother's room, for something that I can't recall.
By the front door in the living room, we had a book shelf about 8 feet tall with a few figurines and collectible items for display atop one shelf. Among those items was a favorite toy of mine, a bear personified as a human girl, which was always there on that shelf, never disturbed. As I walked from my mother's room, down the hallway towards the living room, something flew right past the right side of my head from behind, and landed in front of the bookshelf in the living room; it was the toy bear! No one else was behind me in any of the rooms. I knew that for sure, and so at 10 years of age I was a bit confused.
A few years later, my mother brought a friend to the house, who mentioned before that she was a psychic. When she entered the house, she immediately felt two presences in the area of the turn in the hallway, between the two bedroom doors that lay perpendicular to each other-- the area immediately behind me, when the incident occurred. "They aren't happy," she said to us, "but they aren't hostile."
